TwitView: The Nut Job (2014) B+

Great voices led by Will Arnett and a perfectly surly villain in Liam Neeson.  Kids will enjoy it but it’s really for the boys.  3D showing of nuts and popcorn so real you’ll reach out, good story of friendship and helping your tribe in times of need.  B+

Title gives away the plot but movie shows the tough hombres it takes to be a Navy Seal.  Wahlberg’s character changes oddly in the 3rd act and not in a good way.  Very somber, almost depressing, but excellent showing of US military precision. B-

Oooh…i’m excited, how about you?  Can a prequel to the prequeled sequels actually work?  And can Chris Pine ‘aka Captain Kirk’ bring a fresh perspective to the character?  Is that Kevin Costner in the promo on his 3rd movie of the year already? TwitView: American Hustle (2013)

What a wife, what a life! Bale is solid again but seems limited by script.  Very dramatic but not fulfilling.  Amy Adams is sublime.  I see why the Awards nods, but it won’t win any of them.  Nice surprise acting cameo.  The 3rd act sting you see a mile away.  C-

He was a great man.  A powerful orator, a fighter, a father.  Say what you want about the man and the worlds perception of him through the years, but you cannot deny the impact he had on politics and the world.  Want to see a biopic which chronicles it from its’ humble beginning?  Pay tribute to a true humanitarian (not to mention Nobel Prize winner)?  Get your code, and you can!
