Oh stop. It’s totally SFW. Frankenweenie isn’t the latest Ron Jeremy film, it’s the latest Tim Burton animation-fest! Based on his 1984 short film of the same name, it’s sure to be an adorable heart-tugger.
Read on to see the brand-new “one sheet” (or poster, as you like)….
Feast your eyes, gloat your soul, on FRANKENWEENIE!!!! (All apologies to Lon Chaney.)
Isn’t he just the cutest little reanimated dog you’ve ever seen? Who’s a good reanimated puppy? You are! Yesyouare!
Here’s some info on the film itself, straight from Disney:
From creative genius Tim Burton (“Alice in Wonderland,” The Nightmare Before Christmas”) comes “Frankenweenie,” a heartwarming tale about a boy and his dog. After unexpectedly losing his beloved dog Sparky, young Victor harnesses the power of science to bring his best friend back to life—with just a few minor adjustments. He tries to hide his home-sewn creation, but when Sparky gets out, Victor’s fellow students, teachers and the entire town all learn that getting a new “leash on life” can be monstrous.
A stop-motion animated film, “Frankenweenie” was filmed in black and white and rendered in 3D. The talented voice cast includes: Catherine O’Hara, Martin Short, Martin Landau, Charlie Tahan, Atticus Shaffer, Robert Capron, Conchata Ferrell and Winona Ryder.
Frankenweenie opens October 5, 2012. I for one couldn’t be more thrilled. Check out the trailer at Disney’s Web site ’til then.
