It’s been a while since we’ve seen Bridget and her wobbly bits, but she’s clawed her way back to the big screen, and we want you to catch the Baltimore screening of her new film with us.  Contest details are below the film info – stay geeky!

Oscar® winners Renée Zellweger and Colin Firth are joined by Patrick Dempsey for the next chapter of the world’s favorite singleton in Bridget Jones’s Baby.  Directed by Sharon Maguire (Bridget Jones’s Diary), the new film in the beloved comedy series based on creator Helen Fielding’s heroine finds Bridget unexpectedly expecting.

After breaking up with Mark Darcy (Firth), Bridget Jones’s (Zellweger) “happily ever after” hasn’t quite gone according to plan.  Fortysomething and single again, she decides to focus on her job as top news producer and surround herself with old friends and new.  For once, Bridget has everything completely under control.  What could possibly go wrong?

Then her love life takes a turn and Bridget meets a dashing American named Jack (Dempsey), the suitor who is everything Mr. Darcy is not.  In an unlikely twist she finds herself pregnant, but with one hitch…she can only be fifty percent sure of the identity of her baby’s father.

Maybe just a shot of that brand new bundle of joy.  But wait, I’m a single dude, what do I do? – well use your imagination, use your Photoshop or fish deep in your pool of friends and relatives.  We’re sure they’ve got a string of pictures chronicling their ride to baby-town.  Celebrate Bridget with us and to win you must add the hashtag #bridgetjonesbaby to your posts.

Post your images to our Facebook feed for this movie screening post (DON’T FORGET THE HASHTAG!).  The more imaginative the picture, the more likely you are to be voted for by the writers of GeekForE!  If we ‘like‘ your post on Facebook, then your name will be on our RSVP list at the theater door (your admission is for you and one guest). The contest runs from now until SUN 09.11.16 @ 9PM EST.  You can post as many entries as you like, but you can only win once. All winners will be notified via Facebook so be sure that we can ‘message’ you (and check your SPAM/OTHER box).  This screening is at Cinemark  Egyptian 24 @ Arundel Mills Mall @ 7:30PM on TUE 09.13.16.  GeekForE will begin voting/LIKE’s on MON 08.29.16 so you have plenty of time to post, and Photoshop to your hearts content.

FINE PRINT RULES:

1) Please do not post messages to this web page asking for tickets.  In order to win, you need to post an image to our Facebook feed (GeekForE!).  Also, if we cannot message you on Facebook, we can’t alert you to winning.  In fact there have been readers we’ve skipped over voting for in the past because we don’t have the option to ‘message’ them.  You must open that security in your settings and we are not Facebook Admins to show you how.

2) No substitutions or requests to change your RSVP name.  We are not a hostess at the local theater.  If you win and choose not to go, we understand.  You aren’t hurting our feelings, nor will we desperately seek to fill your spot.  We also won’t swap your name for a buddy because you can’t make it.  Don’t ask, it won’t be answered.
