Wes Anderson’s Moonrise Kingdom. Yeah, the movie that is doing boffo box office and it hasn’t even opened wide yet.
But it’s coming to Baltimore soon, and for some of you it’ll be here even sooner. That’s right, it’s free screening time y’all!

Here’s the synopsis, from Focus Features:
Set on an island off the coast of New England in the summer of 1965, Moonrise Kingdom tells the story of two 12-year-olds who fall in love, make a secret pact, and run away together into the wilderness. As various authorities try to hunt them down, a violent storm is brewing off-shore – and the peaceful island community is turned upside down in every which way.
Moonrise Kingdom has a boatload of stars, including Edward Norton, Bruce Willis, Tilda Swinton, Frances McDormand, Harvey Keitel, and of course Anderson favorites Bill Murray and Jason Schwartzman. It also stars Jared Gilman, Kara Hayward as the two kids wandering the woods.

- If you’re selected, you’ll get a response from me, which will include a pass for you to print out. Because you know me; I’m always down with the easy way to do things.

Please arrive early. Seating is based on first come, first served and is NOT guaranteed. Theatre is responsible for seating over capacity. No admittance after screening has begun.
