I love Young Adult fiction (or, as the cool kids say, YA). So I enjoyed Percy Jackson: The Lightning Thief. But last night I saw the killer trailer for the sequel, Sea of Monsters, and I was blown away. Looks like they’re cranking the dial to 11 for this film, and I for one couldn’t be happier. Can you hear my mythology-loving heart go a-pitter-a-pat? Yeah you can. And sorry about that.
What’s this film about, you ask? Well, our beloved PR folks have an answer for you:
Based on the best-selling series by Rick Riordan, Percy Jackson, the son of Poseidon, continues his epic journey to fulfill his destiny, as he teams with his demigod friends to retrieve the Golden Fleece, which has the power to save their home and training ground, Camp Half-Blood.
