No? Me neither. But I got a heads-up press release yesterday that clued me in on this upcoming film. I’m intrigued, partially because there are no pics on the interwebs, but mostly because the screenplay for this film was written by Zoe Kazan. That’s right, she’s Elia Kazan‘s (On the Waterfront, East of Eden and a zillion other amazing classics) granddaughter. So I’m hoping that she’ll pull a Sofia Coppola and knock it out of the park.

Okay; Ruby Sparks stars Antonio Banderas (The Skin I Live In), Paul Dano (There Will Be Blood), Annette Bening (The Kids Are All Right) and Alia Shawkat (Arrested Development). The directors are Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris, who you may know from their work on Little Miss Sunshine. This movie is slated for release July 25, 2012. And the story?
